I could live with this

Almost anything is better than turning the franchise over to Shia LaBoeuf

Agreed.  Say no to Shia.

On the other hand, Chris Pratt would be a great choice.

Disney didn't pay $4 Billion for Lucasfilm to leave it's second most important franchise alone.

The time to leave it alone was before doing Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls.

I found that entertaining.

Why do you think I brought it up?

Totally on board with Chris Pratt doing this role. Shia needs to go wither away and die somewhere out of the spotlight.

I for one support my fellow Pratt overlord.  >:D

Lately that seems like his plan.

I'd really rather they do this.

However, if they're going to reboot the franchise, then Pratt would be a great choice to play the title role.

How much do you want to bet that Disney reboots the story back to 1899 and makes it all steampunky?

What if Michael Bay directs it?

(shudder)

I was wondering if they would do like Ghostbusters and have an all female cast. Malibu Jones and the Temple of Tampax. Could work.  ::)

Sir Slash, you've been behind on your misogynistic commentary. I think this brings you current with the rest of us goons. :)

Glad to be back with the pack Banzai. Sorry I was slacking there for a bit.

And this would be wrong how?

Wrong was never implied, just Disney being Disney. It will be up to the writers, actors, and director as to how enjoyable the film(s) will be. The difference between a hack director and a great director is what they end up doing with the same box of generic cake mix that the studio allows each of them to work with.
