So the Army basically worked around the Administration's classification of it being "Workplace Violence" despite the terrorist connection?
I'd still like to hear the dumbasses calling it workplace violence to call it what it was.

No - Congress changed the law. The Army could have easily granted the men Purple Hearts prior to the action by Congress if the Commander in Chief wanted it to be done. This was ultimately a decision by Obama which was overturned by Congress.
