I'm going full-on modern this weekend with a full plate of ARMA 3, Wargame: AirLand Battle with the slow cheat mod, Combat Mission: Black Sea, and Steel Beasts Pro. I'm considering upgrading my SB to 3.x to get in on some multiplayer.
Nice picture!
Feeling better (still coughing badly though). Last weekend, I haven't been able to play anything just sleeping.
I want to play:
- Worldshift the last 2 missions have been extremely difficult. I have now to kill a "Boss" which seems almost impossible to defeat....will work on that tonight.
- Endless Space. I'll start a new campaign...have no idea with what race or setting (though I think I'll play on easy to have more time to learn the game)...
One more rares run in elite and I can splash out on a souped up viper and go mow s*** down
Some wargame alb - refining soviet deck and looking at a French and west German one
And fallen enchantress - damn MD and his midnight whispering in my ear - I have set the same parameters as he, we'll see how it goes!
I regret not posting the thematic video for the weekend.
This isn't my favorite; my favorite was some kid who was on detention and made a video. It has since been deleted by THE MAN. Poor kid.
...in bavaria with cold weather outside... Bitter Woods is already on the table! (no pc gaming this friday... no no.)

You're welcome! :)
For me, it'll be Civ IV BtS MP and some of whatever else tickles my fancy.
^^I'm so tempted to buy 'Bitter Woods', or maybe 'Ardennes 44' if I can find a copy at a reasonable price.
More Diablo 3.... this week I won't even pretend I'll try to play something else. If I do, BONUS!
I will be trying to finish up an Empire Total War campaign as the British. Just need 2 more territories for the victory but one belongs to one of my allies. Looks like some backstabbing is in order. >:D
Nothing for me this weekend - AT ALL
6 Nations continues with Scotland coming so close to 2 victories and definitely needing to beat the Italians.
Myself and my daughter are heading to Murrayfield tonight for the game tomorrow and then back on Sunday.
Enjoy everyone. :)
GEATS GEATS GEATS all the way to Caledonia in Attila TW.
I'll continue my EU4: El Dorado game as the Republic of West Florida (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republic_of_West_Florida) (I love the nation designer!) even though Castile has landed in the New World and is assimilating everything. >:(

Ardennes '44 is a great game!
If I'm not working this weekend, and in between diaper changes I'll try to cut my teeth on Wargame Air-Land Battle, and get through some of the OFP Red Dragon & ARMA 3 Campaigns.

Good skills JD, have a great trip and a good time
I hope for the future of Scottish rugby that you beat the Italians!!
IRACING Working on becoming the #1 Driver competing in the Mazda Cup from Pennsylvania.
Might dabble in some of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

We plan to thanks.
It's a required win but has not been etched in stone in the past. Italy have beaten Scotland 6 times out of 14 games with two of them being on Scottish soil I believe!!
I still haven't come down from my CMBN campaign victory high. So not sure what I'll play this weekend. Probably Rome 2 as the German Confederation where we just took Athens and the Greeks are all pissed about that. But after we build them a Mead Hall they should be just fine.
Playing the Union in the April 1861 campaign for Civil War II.
Trucking around in Euro Truck Simulator 2. Have 150K euros saved up and almost ready to pay cash for my first truck.
Just about to start the Soviet-Polish solo campaign in Wargame: European Escalation.

I have 'Normandy 44' and really like the system. However, looks like I'm just about to pick up a copy of 'Bitter Woods'. Until such times as GMT get sufficient orders to reprint A-44, this will have to do.
I'll be prepping the basement for new furnace and tankless water heater. More money I don't have.... :buck2:
When that's done I'll be fighting Commie rebels in Peru in the 1980's. Or is that trying to overthrow the corrupt government in Peru in the 1980's...

Would love to hear how the tankless water heater works out. Living in DC in the winter, it doesn't take long for incoming 37°F city water to render my 40gal water heater useless. Makes for really quick showers!

It all gets installed next Friday so I'll be sure to let you know.
I dunno! I've been blessed with several shinies lately!
Saints Row 4 - just got this as a gift this week (xbox version) and I absolutely love it. I was up playing it until 01:30 this morning, on a school night! I can't remember the last time a game has made me laugh so much. :)
Dominions 4 - I'm making a concerted effort to properly learn this game...not just to play it, but to play it well. Oh god it's so amazing. I feel like I'll still come back to it when I'm retired.
Frozen Cortex - still learning how to play this properly and a couple of bugs are annoying the shit out of me but the call is strong...
Pandora: First Contact - (if there's time) - lovely little game. I've yet to make much progress but I'll be happy if I get around to it.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Well! I'm doing something like that. I may play some CMBN. And some To End All Wars (this just in : the 1916 campaign has East and West Entente just like the others).
AND, in boardgames, some Grand Tactical: Where Eagles Dare (Devils Cauldron is getting reprinted with corrections AND the first part of the 3-part Normandy monster game is coming soon -- The Greatest Day: Gold, Juno, Sword). So time for some premature celebration of a great game system.
For me it will be War Thunder and last night I found my old CD copy of Airline Tycoon 2 by Kalypso Entertainment. So in between flying and tanking I'll try to build up my airline. 8)
This weekend, mainly The Order 1886 and Arnhem Airborne Assault. And anything I can my hands on!
I really hope The Order gets ported to PC.
Wargame ALB as much as possible and time allows. Working on building my American armor deck. love that cheat engine. i'll mix in some frozen cortex which i'm really enjoying, trying to learn the nuances of the game.
Farting around with the tutorial scenario in Enemy Coast Ahead.
Digging deep into the no HUD sim mode for War Thunder.
Trying to finish off the last battle in Blackguards 2.
Waiting for UCG to get off his ass and send a turn for PrON so we can continue with the campaign.

War in the East and Icewind Dale enhanced edition
^Very wintry selections :)
Im really getting my butt served to me today on a plate in Wargame ALB. I'm rusty with RTS!
Dominions 3
Age of Rifles
Warhammer 40K Armageddon
Oh hai, Far Cry 4. Yes, I do believe I'll dive back in and get you finished up. :)

Hey I'm trying the single player campaign. So far I'm a terrible commander. I'm using the tool to slow the game down.
Any tips would be appreciated! I do like the look and feel of the game.

Endless Space is a fun game. Took me a while to figure out the mechanics but once you do you'll appreciate the games design.

Despite my best intentions it's been fallen enchantress all the way so far - this is my first run through with any purpose and I'm in it up to my eyeballs so far - very immersive, very 'one more turn'

So what really happened? Just Grand Tactical -- a poorly-thought-out but still interesting (for me anyway) scenario and Il-2 1946 compendium.
I ordered a new game machine so in a few weeks I'll be back to DCS and what not.
Most of my time was spent with Diablo 3. First time I've really played in a while and I finished getting my witch doctor to level 70 (from level 54), so I now have a full set of 70s. I also played a bit of Battlefield 4, and World of Tanks. I also did the tutorials for Heroes of the Storm, Insurgency, and Frozen Cortex.
Managed to scrape up one more province for the Geats in Attila...and smacked the Burgundians around a bit.
No idea. Though this weekend might mean a new computer, finally! :D So if that happens Saturday, I imagine I'll be doing a lot of installing and configuring to get everything that I want, working on the new rig.
Spent most of my time with a new campaign of Endless Space on...very easy (yeah, I know)...it starts to grow on me. I feel you need more time to read and make choices than in other 4Xs. Every planet might be important, choice of tech is very important and so forth, especially as huge galaxies are actually fairly small. If you make a few mistakes you get behind very quickly. So it's slow paced and lots to read...very easy is really too easy....first in every field now and the AIs have only 2 systems each (at least the ones I met). Will move up to normal for the next game. I miss how the score is calculated (statistics please). The fact that they had to invent news names for almost everything (tech etc..) makes reading the entire thing more tiring....
To compensate, I started a new Armada 2526 Supernova game with a huge map (that's huge indeed) with the Teyes...I am at rank 7 or 8 here but at least I know why (despite having a huge empire already)....expansion phase is still not over yet after 200 turns....still a lot of planets to colonize. I set the game for 1000 turns so I still have some time.
Also played a few scenarios of Worldshift. I am a little bit worried that I might be stuck in the current scenario where I have to face a huge and invincible robot...I had a few impossible scenarios already and hope this is not to be the end of my campaign....but boy, it's hard.
Played mostly Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and a bit of Klingon Academy (really wish they'd get this one released on GOG) this past weekend. Good times.
