They have been slowly introducing female officials into football matches in the UK. Personally - I think if they can do the job what's the problem O0
Except when some misogynistic asshole decides to plow into her all "accidental" like to prove some kind of manly point that women have no business being on the field. I doubt most NFL players are like that, but there is no doubt in my mind there is more than a handful of them.
As many movies as has been made about females becoming placekickers, I'm kind of surprised they haven't creeped into the game that way. Though I imagine they have not due to the same reason.
