I like the concept, but it looks rather simple.

There is another early access one (called Battlemage IIRC?) that seems to have gathered the same opinion. I think the idea could be done well, if there were some extra creativity involved other than just a simple FPS conversion.

I watched some youtube on it, the graphics are poorish, but the lightning bolts looked fun
