This coincides with a huge update and integration with Steamworks. A lot of functionality was been added to the editor. Naval AI has been really improved; expect more sub attacks and shore bombardments. We also altered research so gas shells can be developed much earlier. Of course, the AI will be using them, too.
TGW continues to maintain a Very Positive 85% rating on Steam.
BTW, a shout out to all of you who are already playing. We are close to getting over the 100 review mark. If you've been playing, please consider giving us a review. It really raises the profile and lets more people see the game.
Thanks!

I've heard that it's being developed concurrently with Making History: The War of the Ring.
Darn, I thought their other one was Making History: Star Fleet Battles.
lol,
then followed by
Making History: Secret of the Ooze
Making History: The Three Kingdoms Romance
Not until we finish Making History: Zombie Hippies from Mars. :o
Thanks, Jason, the release has been going great! Almost up to 100 reviews on Steam and still over 85% positive. We are finding people really appreciate that the game is challenging. Maybe because so many games are dumbed down these days, but the philosophy of our design is that it's damned hard to run a country well! Someone was complaining that they couldn't conquer the world as Greece and we're like: "That's right!" Unless you hook up with a Great Power, a small nation is just not going to be cutting a swath across the world. It's still fun and challenging to play a country like that and see how far you can get. Ultimately we'd like to add more nation-specific victory conditions so you can still have some type of win without having to achieve a global conquest.
The integration with Steam Workshop is huge, though. We are already seeing mods being posted, and we're looking to add some ourselves.
