Another reprint of the Deck-builder & Scrabble mash-up Paperback (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/141572/paperback) has just arrived.
Saw it repeatedly recommended as a great "Gateway Game" with fairly simple rules but addicting gameplay that even the most casual gamers can get into. Has both competitive and co-operative/solitaire setups available. Initially wasn't the type of thing I jumped for, but after checking it out I could definitely see it getting played around here more than most.
Print runs were sold out pretty quickly in the past, though, so I pre-ordered for the next print run a few months ago. Just showed up. Get 'em while they're hot.
Yep, it's a nice little game. Scrabble (but fun) meets deckbuilding.
