Snagged it the other night. The game is about 80% functional. Diplomacy does not appear to be fully active and there are some UI items that cause soft crashes (you can continue to play). Looks nice, plays alot like Sword of the Stars 1 except you don't micro manage ships in combat. Decent tech tree, lots of different world to colonize. Some have special resources required for certain techs. Looks like you can trade and set trade routes. You can hire Heroes to run systems or command fleets or bounce around and do both. Heroes level up and there are cool abilities to grab along the way.
Spent way too much time yesterday playing instead of working on my own stuff. Bad me, bad boy...
