Barring any unforeseen circumstances, we wouldn't miss it.

When is the Walk?

October 20th, Tomas wanted to start earlier this year so that he could get the local stores involved. The LLS is also doing a Movie ticket for each $100 raised until the end of the month. He wants to take his Lemonade Stand workers to movies throughout the summer. He's doing pretty good from that perspective, as of today, he'll get 18 tickets for his 'Team Tomas at the Movies' events.

Tell Tomas it might make sense to go more gradually: ask for a car first.

Harald...Tomas sends his thanks!

Not to stress you but he was worried about the Swiss connection. He knows the seastory of the Swiss Francs and McDonalds.....he was concerned that maybe you had allergies so you couldn't convert your Swiss Francs to USD...remember he is only 10...on a good note, he does understand not to shoot the tank. ;)

you can tell him that i had to fight a swiss banker with my swiss army knife until he allowed me a transaction into the us.
they still suspect me to have some kind of arrangement with Tomas to avoid tax paying.

As Jarhead would say "Heart and minds" ...

as I am heading down to Wyoming again, if I find a good little fossil I will send it your way. Tomas can keep it or put it up for auction.

I don't think he'll put it up for auction. I just told him about the donation, after he gave his thanks....his next question was what type of fossils did you find on your vacation?

She must have made a positive impression on Mrs. Smuck, she remembers Mrs. LB by her first name. She also corrected my pronounciation of the LB clan last name.......you're Czech, you just don't realize it.

That might lead to charges for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor.  :o

I dunno about that. Dad speaks Polish, not Czech. However, IIRC the village my grandparents were from is close to the Czech border, and I treat those ethnicities in Europe with a grain of salt. Armies and people used to march across those borders with alarming regularity. I would not be at all surprised to find I am the direct descendant of Ghengis Khan and first in line for the biggest yert.

Yes I did...but I also told him you were planning another trip. I can't blame chemo brain...so me thinks he'll be looking at the pictures again tonight.

So.....should I believe you or Mrs. Smuck????

Me thinks YOU can tell Mrs. Smuck that she is wrong on the 20th. Do it early so that she has enough time to talk to Mrs. LB. svp.

A bit of bad news. The Mrs now has to work so there will only be three of us.

One adult XL, two adult mediums, please.

The walk is finished, LB & Clan showed up, Smuckette sang the Anthem....Smuckette & Congressman Wittman were a little confused about the Marine Corps / Navy relationship....but I corrected them.

Mike snuck in another donation....Tomas sends his thanks

We had 59 walkers on Team Tomas...technically it would be 60 if you included the Congressman; LB's call on him being part of the team. I think the LB ettes had a good talk with Smuckette but I'm not sure about that.

The pictures are on FB.

This is a very good video of what Tomas & Anna have been involved in for the past 5 plus years. this was their 6th walk (Tomas' 7th he did a walk in D.C. the week before). Team Tomas is shown from 2:23-2:30 on the video.
