HBO is trying to do a Band of Brothers for the bomber offensive.
I am sure that it will be done tastefully and honorably by Spielberg and Hanks. Recall the TV show, 12 O'clock High, and even that movie. Very episodic, not sure how well a lengthy treatment like BOB could be done.
BoB (and its spiritual sequels) was pretty episodic in tracing the history of its characters. I see no particular problems. I wonder if my GrandUncle John will be a character. :coolsmiley: (Youngest pilot to pass the B-17 exam, so probably also the youngest to start flying a tour.)
