New Netflix series based on Pablo Escobar & the Medellin Cartel, and the guys out to get them.
I've watched the first four or five episodes. It's excellent stuff. Highly recommend. O0
I'm up to episode 3, so far so good!
Thanks, I was wondering if this was worth the time or not.

Absolutely.
It was difficult forcing myself to
stop watching more episodes. Practically binged the whole 1st part of the series. Finished them rather quickly and I need more. Even though I already know how it generally ends.
My first assumption was that this was a thread about opium tacos.

Just finished-up and am already looking forward to the next season. O0
Just watched the final episode of season 1. It's a great series. Looking forward to season 2.
Some of these Netflix series have been superb. They're doing some great stuff lately.
I suppose at least a small part of it is due to being free from the restrictions of network & cable television in numerous ways.
I also really enjoyed the Marco Polo and Daredevil series recently. There are probably more I should check out.
Started watching yesterday. Excellent show.
Second season next week! ^-^
^excellent!
So... would you say the show is 'addictive'? :2funny:
It's like crack.
I haven't finished watching the first season yet. I need to get back on that.

Yeah you do.
So many shinies distracting me, though.
My big shiny now is Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. I never finished it though I bought it when it came out back in, what, 1998? The furthest I ever got was to Baldur's Gate itself (the city), and quit because the city was huge and boring. Just last night I finally made it to the city but I'm determined to explore everything and FINALLY finish the game (eventually).
I have BGII:EE, but I have it on GOG (BG:EE I have on Steam). I don't know if I can transfer a character from Steam to GOG.
You're a sick, sick man :P

He must gather his party before venturing forth.
I've done had enough of this.
I'm going to go watch Narcos, dammit.
I couldn't transfer my character from BG 2 GOG version to Throne of Baal Steam version. Hope you get better BC. Being sick, sick sounds serious, serious.
Just finished binge watching Narcos season two. Such a fantastic show. Wagner Moura is an amazing talent.
Season 3 is out on Netflix. Still one of the best series going.
I'm still trying to get through Peaky Blinders. For gangsters they sure don't seem to kill a lot of people.

I wondered if it was gonna tank in this new season. The first few episodes have remained interesting, for the most part. O0

I eventually got through the first season of Peaky Blinders. It was slow-going and never made me want to watch more than one episode at a time. I'm still having difficulty sticking with it during the second & about to give up. Again. Which I did once or twice during the first season.
Check out
Narcos if you want some of the 'ole ultra-violence and cutthroat stuff. ;) I doubt you'll regret it. Far more engaging IMO.
I watched season 3 over the weekend, damn it was good. I thought it might suffer with no Pablo but it was just as good as the last 2 seasons.
