I just received an email informing me that "the UN Refugee Agency is working to relieve a global crisis" and that I could help by donating to the Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/aidrefugees?ref=email_aidrefugees) that was started to benefit Syrian refugees.
What do you think of that? :-\

1) Run by Kickstarter themselves
2) No goals
3) Cards automatically charged
4) Not recorded as campaign backing
So basically they're using the Kickstarter platform and user base to get donations.
