Guns don't kill people, dogs do. In the past five years, at least six Americans have been shot by dogs (http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonkblog/wp/2015/10/27/a-dog-shoots-a-person-almost-every-year-in-america/)
Let this be a lesson, don't name your dog "Trigger".
QuoteThis past weekend, a chocolate Labrador retriever named "Trigger" accidentally shot an Indiana woman in the foot during during a hunting trip, according to news reports. An Indiana woman had left her loaded shotgun on the ground with the safety off. Trigger stepped on it, inadvertently pressing the trigger. The woman took a shotgun blast to her left foot at point-blank range.
Or maybe just don't leave a loaded shotgun laying around with the safety off. ::)
Go figure...
QuoteFlorida appears to be home to several more of these accidents
The reporter liked writing that story way too much.
Sounds like Trigger was on to something and was attempting to thin out our herd of human idiots. Good boy,Trigger.

Sort of like this:
That it was a Dachshund does not surprise me. Mine's a killer, no way that I'd leave a loaded firearm within her reach!

That one of the Florida incidents was self-defence makes it all the more sweet.
