I've never played Iron Front, but it looks interesting. Has anyone played this with ARMA III?
I'm assuming it's a mod, but do you also need to own the original Iron Front game as well as ARMA III? It's confusing...
Weird.. used to play co-oop with SDR and some others on SimHQ for the original Iron Front, it was a lot of fun!
Well if it's ARMA 3 then it will be smoother. I haven't tried.
Old Iron Front was clunky as hell.

Thanks! Looks like you do need both games and when patched the Iron Front game is converted into a mod for Arma 3.
The lite is the free mod version with ugly textures. If you own IF, you get the better texture version to the mod, there's a conversion tool that does this.
From what I here the IF fans that still play it weekly prefer the vanilla because the armor physics and hit/ damage system is superior in vanilla.
Cool. I might just try and give the lite version a go.
