As title says, trying to reinstall some GG purchases made a while ago and the downloader just hangs with a busy icon. Forever. Hard reset needed and also crashes Windows Explorer.
Can't find anything anywhere about this issue so I'm wondering has anyone else encountered this?
Windows 10 64-bit. Have also tried disabling firewall and anti virus to no effect. Tried downloading on other pc running Win 7 64-bit and all is well there.
Tried installing the downloads after downloading on the other pc and same issue: hangs and wont install.
I haven't tried installing anything actually from GG in a while. Only Steam keys.
Did a quick check a minute ago on an actual GG installer, though, and no problem. I'm running Win 8.1.
Seems to work in safe mode but then I no longer have an internet connection.
Do you have to allow the application permission for the Windows firewall?
Fixed. For anyone else out there: you have to set an exclusion with AVAST in Win 10 for the GG downloaders.
