I played Kingdom of Amalur on the pc a few years ago and got many hours of fun out of it. The critics panned it but I liked it. Enjoy! I'm still knee-deep in WitP:AE....finally 'getting' it and starting turn 7 today.
This tune will keep me going all morning in my quest for a flu shot, black aquarium background, 24" T5 light, and whatever other trouble a wandering gamer can get into on a Friday morning.
I'd like to survive more than 1 day in The Forrest but the cannibals are bloodthirsty enemies.

To echo Shelldrake, it must be the end of the world if MD isn't playing Civ. I feel fine with that.
Continuing my Shogun 2 campaign as the Imperial Saga...only about 12 clans left...it's getting real now.
Also tempted to try out AssCreed - Chronicles: China and perhaps some Jade Empire.
Pretty much locked into 7 days to die on AZ' s grog server. Expanding my tunnel system and crops and getting back to exploring the map. I keep getting business from the feral hordes, just lucky i guess.

Being sick (flu) and still at work, i guess that i'll go directely to bed when i get home. If i manage to do something this weekend, it's going to be either Grands Ages Rome or something on a tablet (Imperium Galactica II, CIV V or Armada 2526). Anyway only a game that i already know by heart and don't require too much Learning.

fm 2014 managing rochdale in my second season. currently in sky bet league 1 and sitting in a playoff spot but season has a few months left! will also book a few shows in TEW 2013 and see if i can get any closer to cult size in popularity :)

I haven't seen Blade Runner but once in the early 1980s. I just got a book about P. K. Dick, though. You should see American Hustle. The J. Lawrence character is painfully similar to my 2nd wife in terms of logic and self-justification and flouncing around.

Bioshock Infinite!!! Why the hell did I wait so long to buy this? It's utterly sublime, just like its predecessor. I'm totally gripped and will likely play not much else this weekend.

Empire TV Tycoon - I'm calling this the undiscovered gem of 2015. Lovely, eminently playable little game.
Wurm Online - I desperately need a project to occupy my time, but my alliance remains one of the nicest gaming communities I've ever found.

Damn, is it time for Friday already? Seems like we just had one a week ago. I am still pushing the Bolshevik Hordes eastward in DC Case Blue having dished out 469,000 casualties on the Russkies for some 36,000 in return. And we just kicked the front door to the Caucasus open. I'm sending Hoth down to help out Manstein for the big push south. When those two get together, we should be at the Indian Ocean inside of a month. But that's when this game begins to really worry me--- just when I think I got it whipped. And there's that little town on the Volga I've got to get to also. But it sure is fun.... right now. :coolsmiley:
As usual, Attila Total War: Age of Charlemagne is set to take up most of whatever time I get in this weekend (I work again - no surprise). Still need to really get into Pillars of Eternity as well; so far I've been having too much fun just dabbling around with character creation for the most part.
Aside from that, am finally feeling the need for some space 4x action (first time in a while, oddly enough), so perhaps some Armada 2526 or Distant Worlds.
WiTP:AE vs Geek. I'm currently holding land of his hostage until he returns, well, most of the map back to it's rightful owners. Then it's on to XCOM: Long War mod. A ton of fun but, surprisingly, a lot of mouse clicks.

Finally playing Napoleon: Total War with the Italian campaign with Darthmod and a nice DM submod by Sturmtrooper which really makes the battle last longer and more interesting. Had one tight battle with Sardinian troops where I lost 50% of my French forces while destroying 75% of their forces. To quote Wellington: "It was the nearest run thing..."

Also looking at buying TOAW III from Matrix while the sale is still on. I have TOAW:COW, but wouldn't mind upgrading to version III for the improvements and widescreen resolution.

Try L'montee d l'empire for napoleon, i found that superior to darthmod.
Playing War In The West, trying to blast my way through the Siegfried line, can never make it to Berlin before the soviets.

Little Feat is awesome, but it needs some Lowell!
Just Cause 3 and...dunno yet, but probably something else PC-wise. On the table, I'll be bringing Broom Service, Roll for the Galaxy and 7 Wonders (with the Cities expansion) over to a buddy's house. Maybe they get played, maybe other games do.
So far, just SQUAD, although I hope to make time for something else.
I have a hankering for WitP:AE again...it's the commitment, man, that scares me...

Just spent a half hour watching a play video of the Battle of Leuthen. Made quite a few things clearer. Still went too fast on the button pushing, which Orders he was pressing or Line changes or Orders. Makes a bit more sense though. Going to give another battle a try on my own.

As expected, I'm playing a fair bit of Bioshock Infinite this weekend. I just love it, it's just as captivating as Bioshock. I prefer the Rapture setting to Columbia, but Infinite makes up for it with Elizabeth, probably the best NPC I've yet seen in a game.
I also can't tear myself away from Wurm Online. As long as you have some kind of goal in mind, there's no shortage of things to do, and my alliance is awesome. I'm currently working on upgrading my house, which I've started by finishing the floor which was previously part cobblestone. Now it's all wood. Oh, and I got a cow pregnant! By using a bull. So we should have a calf in a few days. I have a sheep happily grazing in my garden; as soon as it's matured I will take it to my village's sheep enclosure and get it to reproduce. Before long I will hopefully have a good renewable supply of wool and meat. :) Just started to try fishing too.
Ended up mostly playing Distant Worlds: Universe today (when not watching the Vikings break my heart yet again :( ). Such a lovely game. Not the prettiest, but she's wonderfully rich & complex, with a lot of depth. Kind of like Star.
Played a turn at DC3:Barbie as expected.
Gave a little help on 7DtD, although mostly I took a break from it today to play...
...two gamedays worth of Empyrion (or however it's spelled): Galactic Survival. Not as bleak as 7DtD, of course, and I had to restart a couple of times, and frankly the interface could be better about spelling out what's required for what. But I've got two videos to take snapshots for an AAR now.
I loved Bioshock: Infinite too. Never played any of the other Bioshock games.

My heir just died and my daughter is next in line, i just matrilinealed her to the Prince of Scotland - time to start knocking off some Jocks
and we're carving our way through the Aragon and Castille - both were ravaged by the Moors but Christian rebels have risen up and started fledgling Aragon and Castille kingdoms, fortunately for Parma theyre right next to the Duchy of Barcelona - Me

I only managed to play some Civ 5 on my windows tablet. Don't feel 100% yet but will still go to work... :-[

The video I saw, he micromanaged the HELL out of the battle. I tried to emulate him but...
Busy weekend so not much gaming, just a couple of hours of Pillars of Eternity. But it was time well-spent as I completed the Crucible Knights/ Forge Knights quest.
If you have played the game and haven't done this quest, expect some really tough fights at the end. But the loot is great and you pretty much get to loot the whole Crucible Knights complex. Unless somebody has found a different way to end this quest than I. If so, please share your story. I'd love to hear it.
