Somehow, I knew he was still around. Seems like his name would come up every so often and everyone would be surprised he was still alive. Sad to have him pass, but he did make it to 94.

RIP Abe.  I knew he was still alive.  Really that's because some dj would trot out a game called 'Dead or Canadian,' and he would always use Abe.  And every time, the caller would get it wrong.  Abe was still alive.
