Title: Helldivers Revisted
Post by: Jarhead0331 on February 06, 2016, 03:35:36 PM
Hoping some of you guys will pick this up. It really is a blast to play. Just as good on the PC as it was on the PS4. I don't even mind having to start over from scratch in order to level up again. Its the kind of game that you can play for 10 minutes, or 3 hours at a time. You can play SP, but some of the the missions will be nearly impossible to complete by yourself. I'm an SP guy, but the MP in Helldivers really isn't that bad. Other helldivers can jump into your mission at random and if you're having a tough time, you can even deploy a beacon that will attract other players to your game.

Anyway, here is a quick little video I made. Hope you guys like it. Let me know if you have any questions!

That does look quite boss. I love the color quotes, too!  O0

I haven't played many twin-stick shooters, but I've enjoyed the few I've played; WH40K Kill Team being my favorite so far. It isn't nearly as detailed as this in its overall playstyle, of course.

I enjoyed kill team, too, but helldivers is a far superior game. Give it a shot!

I have Gauntlet which seems the same sort of thing.

I find Helldivers a type of game I pick up and play on my sofa, but not much on my PC.
So I prefer the PS4 version (or Vita as it is cross-compatible) and actually enjoyed my rather limited time with it a lot!

That night we hooked up, JarHead was grand! I am sad we didn't have the oppertunity to do that more often.

There seems to be a healthy dose of new stuff regularly added too. Very nice package altogether.  O0

You're over thinking this.
Not all Grogs are made in the image of Star and Mirth.

That night, both Jarhead's and Yskonyn's games were warmed up.  When Jarhead dropped his beacon, Ysknoyn was ready!  Eagerly, Yskonyn moved his game into Jarhead's, bringing their games together.  At first, it was good; as they got to know each other's needs and desires, it got better and better.  Eventually, the evening culminated in decisive victory both both of them, and, exhausted, they disconnected their games, and parted with fond memories to carry them forward.
