Locus Online is a great site. Looking at the link you posted reminded me of how long it's been since I've stopped reading new Science Fiction novels. I only recognize a couple of names on that list. The good news is I still have plenty of classic SF books to read.

The Locus list is filled with literary SF. Any list of 2015 that leaves off Butcher's Aeronaut's Windlass is lame.
Aeronaut's Windless got superb reviews from everyone. It has a huge number of positive recommendations from Amazon Readers. It was released in 2015. It has been a monster seller. Locus ignores it.
