Sounds kinda like Milton from
Office Space.
Except his "glitch" was never "fixed". ;D
This explains why the water in Cadiz is so good. The Govt. Bureaucrat in charge of running the Water Dept. wasn't doing anything to screw it up. The state of Florida gave me my 25 year certificate when I hit my 30 year mark. "Your service is so important to us and appreciated". :coolsmiley:
Seriously, whatever any of us has accomplished in our lives....this guy takes the prize. Outstanding. 8)
QuoteGarcia's attorney, speaking on his behalf, reportedly blamed bullying at his workplace for his absence. He also said there was no work to do.
He appropriately identified the situation. For six years no one needed him. Not once.
The funny thing is, I'll bet a dollar they put out a hiring notice for his job and ultimately fill the role.
Through nepotism.

As a peon in the water mines I....reall can't dispute this....
Anyway, as recognition for hitting my last milestone, the company sent me an email informing me that they would no longer be doing anything to recognize the milestone and then thanked me for my service and told me what a valuable asset I was so, you know, hooray for me and so on.

Laugh
Out
Loud
Bureaucracies sure know how to motivate people, don't they?
Dr Milfi did wonders for me!
