Someone mentioned this game in one of the baseball threads, its a free career baseball sim game that has been around for awhile. Although I don't think its as good as OOTP and the availability/support of the developer is questionable (although it is free so I guess some slack), still worth checking out if you have never played it before. Update includes 2015 players and schedule.

While I also generally plan on sticking with OOTP, I'd still possibly play this one on occasion. More simplistic and, therefore, faster. Which can be helpful since I usually just want to do the GM/Contract/Roster stuff and let the rest play out quickly. Could probably have multiple seasons done in the same time it takes one in OOTP.
Been awhile since I checked out PureSim though. I'm guessing you gotta hunt down an official Logo pack still?

I used the easy to find mods from OOTP for PureSim....face pack, ballparks and logo's all work just fine.
I applied this update yesterday and played and found a few glitches that I'll let Shawn know about. It was a couple of simple things I think such as a homerun was hit but there was no ball flight and no fireworks (home ballpark); the text simply scrolled a homerun and it was scored as such.
