Title: chewy.com for pet food. Anyone try it?
Post by: steve58 on April 07, 2016, 01:34:05 PM
Recently got an advert in the mail from them. Just checked them out online and their prices look pretty good compared to the local big pet food stores. Just curious if anyone has used them. Thanks...

We had a recurring shipment setup for our Great Dane for his food. When we had to cancel the credit card because of a fraud warning we never said it back up and have just been buying from the local mom-and-pop shop. They were a good deal, but at this point my wife feels better about supporting the local business

^Thanks, the local shops are Petco (in town) and Petsmart (further out), no local Mom+Pop stores to support :(, so thinking I may give chewy.com a try.

p.s.  just curious, was the cc fraud tied back to chewy.com?

no it wasn't - it was tied to the Target hack.  Not sure we were ever compromised, but that company sent everyone new cards just to be safe (probably just a PR move).  We just never changed the Chewy.com billing and started supporting the local place.  But we weren't unhappy w/ Chewy.com
