Finally started season 2 tonight. I'll be damned but every time I watch this show I say to myself 'that was the best episode of Peaky Blinders yet!'

Awright, I'll give'r a look once I get done with GoT. Just started Season 7 Ep 1 with that.
Game of Thrones is excellent, don't get me wrong. But I actually enjoy watching Peaky Blinders even more.
I'm afraid my wife would have me committed if I told her I was watching a show with that name. She's VERY close to it now so..... :-"

Did you watch Boardwalk Empire? I dare say I like Peaky Blinders even more.
Only saw it a few times when we had HBO weekends for free and was somewhat impressed. The last series I watched on HBO was "Deadwood" and I liked it well enough. I really enjoyed "Taboo" on FX this past season-- hope it comes back soon.

OK. Episode one down and while I'm not in Love, I'll be back for a second date. And.... I might let him get to second base. Only if he waits for though. ;)
So it's not just me? This show has a bit of a slow start?
I'm not usually into crime dramas at all. The only thing I find interesting thus far (and I'm only about 1/4 in the first episode) is the history. I was wondering if I was going to be getting a supernatural experience here, with the Chinese woman blowing red dust up the horse's snout and all, but who knows. If you lot think it's worth it I'll try to stick with it.

Tom Hardy really plays a good part.
He is awesome. I don't know how much he will be in the 4th season, not having seen the 3rd one yet.
