no...not the F-14 :(
Or the A-4E Skyhawk :(
It's the F-5E Tiger II (or Mig 28) :-)

Insta buy!! :)
I like Cold War planes.
Yeah, that looks pretty tasty.
Talk to me Goose.
They need to focus on some proper maps and stop with the airplane DLC.

You aren't a fan of men's beach volleyball?

Right into the Danger Zone.
I recall seeing an interviewer asking Chuck Yeager which jet fighter he most enjoyed flying.
After a quick thought he said the F-5. Praised it's nimble lightweight design mixed with raw old-school controls and minimal digital avionics.
Like many other older fighter pilots, he felt that the newer fly-by-wire and Radar Missile-focused Techno Jets were missing the raw control feedback. And forced the pilot to keep his attention focused too much on the gadgetry in the cockpit instead of looking about and enjoying the ride.
The F-5 was one of the last of a generation, by his account. Very sexy little thing too, IMO. While the F-5E II had some techno upgrades, it should be quite enjoyable in DCS. For furthering your Dutch conquest of the world. ;)
It is literally impossible to say enough good things about the F-5. A brilliant design.

Aren't you a happy bunny, eh?
FYI the F-5 is developed by a third party, not ED.
Which begs the question...what are ED working on?
I don't know why I'm even kidding...this will end up in my collection.
By the way - I asked a question a while back but had no answer - is there any way to remove the icons for modules not bought? If not, can you even re-arrange them so the ones you have appear before the ones you don't have?
I guess they'll change that interface at some point. It's not going to be sustainable

No way for the icons to be hidden or re-arranged.
AFAIK ED are working on the F/A-18 and the Hormuz map as well as the Normandy map and a few WW 2 aircraft.
Also, work on Nevada hasn't been finished and they are still 'om the road to V2.0'.
Lots on their plate still.
Thanks O0

Hopefully improvements to DCS World and the Combined Arms module.
The third party developers are carrying the torch with new aircraft lately.
