No "probably" anymore. According to a later BBC release (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-36352559), "Afghanistan's spy agency has confirmed that Taliban leader Mullah Akhtar Mansour has been killed, after the US targeted him in a drone strike...."

What got me was Pakistan's rebuke of the US by infringing Pakistani airspace. Given that there is a huge terror problem in Pakistan, I was really surprised at the response. I'd have thought a "thank you, USA" was more appropriate in this case.
