Facts atm: a single masked mean looking gun -update- rifle toting person entered a cinema-complex at 2:45pm (on the hottest and muggiest day in Germany this year, first shows starts at 3pm) immideatly shot in the air 4 times (with blanks? or actual rounds? ...information is still sparse) and took hostages.
Police reacted with full swing on the high terror alert level we have theses days.
The guy is dead (i assume he pointed a gun or a good dummy on the officers), and a number of persons (15-25) got 'injured' by beeing 'exposed' to teargas (probably from the police tactics in use not from the hostage takers arsenal)

there is a first boulevard news report about 'a grenade and and an explosive belt' found near the body and being checked by the bombsquad atm ...
the police and the media are reluctant with giving info about the ID of the guy ...which usually leads to the conclusion "its not a generic German" and the background and political motives of the guy are not fitting to the offical ordered kumbaya kumbaya Political Correctness sing a long.

I hope following Brexit, the German people get their say on their future, as to whether Berlin or Brussels rule Germany. I hope they get a stake in policy starting with a Gerxit.
We will be trading and working with Germany post Brexit anyway, but I hope it will be a free Germany that we get to cooperate with long term.

the guy was a 19 year old "German" (means his ID card) born in Mannhein and living in northern Germany.
he carried 2 fake weapons and fake potato masher grenades
(there were also some rumors about "Italy" (means his parents ID cards) origins ... those days we had a beaten-up killing near Bonn-BadGodesberg by a so colled "Italian" which was actually a Maghreb immigrant to Italy)
the name and picture and more details are still withhold! ..... you can draw your own conclusions why ;-)
i have to mention: there is also a chance that the incident also has some 'suicide by cop' component.
