I'm going to have a few keys to give away to regulars here.

Purchased and activated Tier3. It will be sometime before I get much time for any of this bundle but who cares. Crimbo is early this year! :)
I am torn between the Tier 1 and Tier 3 games. I always wanted the whole Ajaca Est series but they are pretty old now. To End All Wars and Thirty years War are newer but TEAW got a bad rap when it came-out. Who likes what and why?
I haven't played TEAW enough to give an informed opinion, but from my casual impression is that the map is too small even when fully zoomed in, and that the turns are probably too long.
Simultaneous movement tends to produce weird results when the time period covered is too long. The game would be a lot longer, but I think it would play better if the turns were only one week long (two in the winter).
I took a look at the game this weekend, and though I don't have the largest monitor in the world, I suspect it would be easier to find things on my older (smaller) monitor. But the good news is that it sent me scurrying back to take another look at my old mod for France '14 (End of the Belle Epoque) which I intend to revive and update (along with East Prussia '14).
I really like Thirty Years War, and wouldn't be making music mods for it if I didn't. I understand that there will eventually be at least one more scenario about the late war, but whether included in a patch or as a DLC I have no idea.
I've played a fair amount of Alea Jacta Est recently and still like it a lot. The artwork on the map (as opposed to the map revealed by the tooltips) has a few embarassing glitches, but you don't really notice them much when you're playing. The way forces interact with each other feels pretty convincing provided that you spend some time thinking about attrition and engagement speed. I have a few reservations about whether the Ageod replacement system is appropriate for ancient (and especially Roman) armies. Republican legions didn't have replacements, but the system probably works for everything else (the headcount in Caesar's legions got smaller and smaller as the civil war went on).
If I had to rank the games in order of preference, I'd say Thirty Years War with Alea Jacta Est a close second, and To End All Wars third.
But that's just my current thinking and could change if I ever get around to giving TEAW the attention it deserves.

I've got everything in the bundle bar TEAW so I'd like to know the same as even if I end up giving away the remainder of the bundle TEAW could still be worth it at the price.

.... completely agree with this, and I think this is a flaw with all the AGEOD games. I have even gone so far as modding scenarios to make the turns shorter. I've got WIA, ACW, Russian Revolution & Espana - good games but turn length distorts the games massively. How I wish they would do an option to change turn length, and offer an IGOUGO option as well (though I must admit the latter reflects my boardgame origins!). That said the deal on Bundle is fantastic.
Incidentally - does anyone have an opinion on how the Pride Of Nations Civil War game compares to the stand alone Civil War game?
Regards
Keith
I'm playing The Thirty Years War grand campaign right now as the Catholic faction and I'm having fun.
I also played a couple of the smaller scenarios for AJE: Birth of Rome and also very much enjoyed that.
No regrets buying AJE and TYW.
I haven't played enough of the other games listed in the bundle to give an opinion, but I do own them all.
I did hear that the Civil War II game is more fleshed out than the scenario that you can get for Pride of Nations. I would recommend Civil War II if you really want to play the ACW.

^ What he said. TYW is good and Alea Jacta Est is a classic. TEAW really needs a one week turn and some other tweaking to make it viable.
Wow!!! :)
That's hard to pass up...so I didn't ;D TYVM!
I've been on the fence about either CW2 or Revolution Under Siege wondering if I'd enjoy them after the purchase. At this price who cares, I'll skip a kids meal. O0
I had planned getting CWII in the next Steam sale. But couldn't pass this offer up, I mean, who is likely to say 'That's seven quid I could have saved.'
Payday today so took the plunge. NZ$10 for all that is a no brainer. Finding some time to play is a different story...
Gave up the fight and bought Alea Ajac Est plus Pride of Nations for $2.50. That's a whole lot of gaming for a little bit of cash!
fyi: Time limited offer. Ends in 37 hours
Grabbed this at the last moment, mostly for 30 Years War. Thanks for the heads up!
