Anyone playing this early access, open world, space survival game? Comments, opinions? Reminds me a little of the newly released No Man's Sky, but it's on sale at 50% off, $9.99, on Steam.
Looks really nice. Not at all cartoony like NMS and has glowing reviews even in alpha. Definitely one to watch - I might even spring for it at the sale price. :)
JasonPratt had a really good AAR on it somewhere around here. I fired it up a couple of days ago and it looked nothing like I remembered. I backed out slowly. :P

I haven't played it since then, so I don't know what advances have happened. It indeed has a lot of similarity to NMS (or vice versa), but some obvious differences, too, in how both games are played (not counting the art style differences).
Keep in mind that, in effect, I only finished the start of the game: once you can fly between planets, you've finally gotten going.

It's well worth full price, if you like the genre at all.

I am finally going to pull the trigger on this today and learn the basics then jump into the HWS multiplayer server.
