Although I am not a big fan of the series myself, I know others are....noticed they were going to be releasing everything in one big package....I guess good for those who have not previously bought them all.
******Announcement********
Back when we released the U.S. Corps packs we told you they would be the last DLCs for the Panzer Corps series, but we never said that the path of Panzer Corps had come to an end. Millions of people enjoyed Panzer Corps in the last few years: it's been a long and epic ride, but it's not over yet.
We are going to update the game and make a special edition containing every expansion and DLC ever published: Panzer Corps Gold!
For the first time you'll have the opportunity to buy every single expansion plus the base game in a single product, thus receiving a big discount on the whole package.
To celebrate the Gold edition we are going to add some decisive improvements to the game's interface; now it'll be possible to see a combat prediction in the map screen while planning your movement, and your units' special abilities will be highlighted in the UI! Those are life changers, trust me.
In order to be fair to those who already own the game these improvements will be available to anyone in a free patch.
Would you like to know more, and also take a look at the shining (literally) new box? Please visit the product page and don't forget to comment on the forum!
I missed a lot of expansions. Let's see how they price this.

Ditto.
^Ditto +1.
Well let's have some fun while we wait with a price guessing game....on Steam the core game ($20) plus the 17 listed DLC/expansions ($120) would cost a total of $140 if you bought right now......assuming they will be at some kind of discount price, what do you think it will be?
Since Matrix seems to like the $79.99 price point......that is going to be my guess!

Actually this was/is one of the reasonably priced games that they carry (like some others - Battle Academy), so maybe it won't be a 'premium' price (like World in Flames/Steel Panthers WaW).

Put your guess in:)
49.99
Tee-hee
I second UGeek's guess.
I say 59.99
USD $79.99 / € 75.99 / £ 66.99 G.R got it right! :crazy2:

Holy Crap!!!! :crazy2:
A ton of gaming, but too much $$ for me. Especially since I own a number of the games/DLC already.
Ouch that is rather expensive.
I've got it all already with the DLC mainly picked up in Steam sales and even though I've got the boxed version of the base game I don't think I've spent much more than £45 in total for everything that is included in the Gold Edition.
That's why it's called the 'Gold' Edition. You got to have it, to get it. ::) I was addicted to Panzer General like crack once upon a time but now that I've Rehabbed, I just can't go back. Though it does look tempting.
Beer and Pretzels.. it was fun to revisit.. But the dust has settled, they should've re-priced.. at that price, a lot of people are just gonna move on. LOL at least it's not 'broken' like WiF!
Yahoo I won:)
Sure for $80 :)
I'll wait for the sale.
BOO!!!!
Too steep was thinking 59.99 for the hard copy might get me thinking. At this price it's an easy pass.
Guys, you can buy it on Steam as a "Complete your set" bundle - that way if you already own the base game plus any DLC you will only buy the DLCs you're missing at a greatly reduced price while still getting a 43% discount on everything.
http://store.steampowered.com/bundle/1580/ You need to be logged in on Steam for it to work, obviously :)
The above post is what I have been waiting to read...
Since I own nearly everything contained in Panzer Corps - Gold Edition, I won't be purchasing it unless they discount it for each of its DLC I already own.

Posted a couple of posts up...you can do it for the steam version but not the matrix version (although I believe you can get a steam key if you want)

Then you would be out of luck if you don't want to play on steam:)
As usual, I get

One of the things I love about Slitherine is that they give you a Steam key when you buy a game through their website.

I think you can register your (boxed) serial on the Slitherine site then retrieve a Steam key.

That's the point.
I do not want to register it on Steam. The only games I play on Steam are those that can only be played Steam. I really, really dislike monopolies and that is what Steam is getting close to being.
Ah I have misread.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but why do you think Steam is becoming a Monopoly? They aren't the creators/publishers of the games, they simply are the distribution platform for games. Its just like having a Windows PC and largely the main Operating System for the platform is Windows (not the actual software you use, but the platform that allows all things to work) and most people use it with little choice.
Again, nothing wrong with your decision and its yours to make, but just curious since I haven't heard that reason before...I have heard others such as people don't like the platform, concerned with mostly being online, etc.
@Grim.Reaper
How many new games by 2K, Bethesda, Paradox (and I don't know offhand how many by other PC game companies) can be activated or run without Steam being installed? That should explain my concern.
But I don't want to derail this thread nor begin a debate about Steam. So that's all I am going to say.
It seems they are hosting a tournament:
