Title: Debate Drinking Game
Post by: GDS_Starfury on September 26, 2016, 12:33:33 PM
I have a pretty easy week of work so I'm planning on doing some drinking  during the debate to ease the pain anyeay so why not make a game of it.
What should be some rules?

Let me get you started -

Every time Trump uses the phrase 'Crooked Hillary', drink.

Every time Hilly says "When I was Secretary of State", drink.

I'm sure others can add to the list, but those two alone should get you drunk.

Every time Trump pretends to understand the question, take a shot.

Every time Hillary says she tells the truth, take a shot.

Every time the Media Moderators pretend to be fair, take a shot.

If you have to get up to go to the bathroom, don't pass near any open flames or you will ignite.

I would say whenever Hillary says "you know". But if you take a drink every time she says that you will certainly die from alcohol poisoning.

After looking at those two for 90 minutes, there'll be plenty of drinking but nobody will want to have sex.

I cannot believe I wasted 60 minutes of my life on that crap.  Nothing new and certainly nothing that is going to change or makeup anyone's mind who hasn't done so already.  I the bright side the wife and I shut off the much to do about nothing to play a couple of games of cards.  A much, much better use of my time.

I was somewhat surprised how well Hillary did. She pretty much commanded the debate-keeping Trump on the defense and off message-- he took the bait every time. Trump failed to challenge her on her aasertion trickle down doesn't work and is what led to the financial meltdown. High taxes and rediculous regulations is exactly what drives buisness away- and trickle down really translates into the pie growing larger benifiting everyone. Or in other words you make the pie bigger so everyone gets a bigger piece. It really bothered me Trump never challenged her on it and instead wasted time defending his company and his bankrupties--every Large company deals in those issues when they reach the multi-billion dollar stage---from Ford to GE--and is all he really had to say and get back on track - and he missed many openings ---the biggest one while Hillary talked about cyber crime--I mean really- who wasn't thinking of saying, "The first rule being no private servers for Secretary of States" and he just let it pass. So all in all I was disapionted in his performance- while I was impressed in how well Hillary did. It didn't change my vote but i can see how it might for undecides-

I think Hillary did about as well as she can do. It took her some time to warm up, but she did well.

Trump did well the first 20 minutes or so (for Trump anyway), but he was clearly unprepared for almost every question not regarding trade or jobs. I do think Trump is smart, not elite smart, but smart enough to do better than he did. He is either not getting good advice or not accepting good advice (or combo of both) to come to a presidential debate so unprepared.

Up until now I have mostly ignored the race because both candidates are so unpleasant, but I decided to watch the debate to kinda catch up. I have missed most of the Trump antics so far in the race, but I imagine I haven't missed much. I think he has a good sense of what most Americans think about politicians. He rightly pointed out that Hillary (all politicians for that matter) was just saying what people wanted to hear and she really have no intention of making good on her promises. Those were times when I saw a sliver of brilliance. He said what we all are thinking whenever we watch debates like this. In essence he said "your full of it" and he was right and such debates are all BS.

If he can get some good advice and do some serious prep, he can beat Hillary in the upcoming debates. There are times when his gut feelings are dead on and he can be dangerous, especially to Hillary who is widely thought not to be honest. I don't think it will happen, though.

Congratulations to Hillary on a good debate performance, though.

I cannot and will not vote for Hillary but clearly she played the Donald like a violin. Any other Republican candidate would have beaten the red pant-suit off of her easily. I would have lost money that the 'Basket of Intolerables' never came up.

If someone took a drink every time Trump said "stamina" your liver would have jumped out, looked at you, and said "F off asshat"  :tickedoff:

well if you were watching in HD like I was Hillary really didn't look all that healthy-and I bet in person as well- the lack of stamina charge would go over-but i think we all agree Hillary won this one---but the rest of the internet disagrees-with every poll saying Donald won--except for CNN's poll which is almost a sampling of all demogratz. Hell Drudge has it like 93% donald--I don't know what Kollaid they drink but it really must have great ingredients.
