Great news, Ed!! Prayers up for continued great news! O0
Fantastic news Richie. Keep-up the good fight man. I think you've just scared the shit out of cancer everywhere. O0 Seriously, as a nurse you look remarkably well for cancer patient undergoing chemo treatments. I have a friend locally who also has had multiple chemo treatments over multiple times for her cancer and she also is much improved since beginning them. They say it's 75% attitude, 25% effort. I am in awe of you guys. :notworthy:
Great news Ed!
Thanks for sharing this great news Richie
O0 Awesome news!
Thanks for all the kind words and support!!!!!
Good luck...here's hoping it's kicked to the kerb O0
Doctor visits went well. It's going to be a long road for recovery. The worst part is going to be urinary catheters. But I guess I got to do what I need to do to get healthy again. I just HATE them! At least a week in the hospital and 2 plus months to recover. The plan is to make a Neobladder from a piece of my intestines. Modern medicine is amazing!
Going in for surgery Wednesday morning. It's at least 8 hours long.
I will report back in when I get home and start feeling better!
Thanks for all the support and prayers!
w00t!

Great news!
Sorry to hear about the pain though. Chemo drugs by themselves are nasty things.
I did my first post op with my medical team and it went great! There was no cancer in the lymph nodes they tested and the bladder cancer was encapsulated.
So I am "cancer free" now!!! <:-)
The surgery went very well, but due to all the scar tissue from previous surgeries there was a concern about blood supply, which in turn preventing them from creating a neo bladder.
I now have an ostomy bag, but I am cool with it. Cancer free and lots of positives of an ostomy bag vs neo bladder.
Did I say "Cancer Free"? :D
Woohoo!
*Ahem*
WOOHOO!!!
oooh- we get to use our 'Outdoor Voices'!
Any where we want :) :bd:
Great news indeed Richie! You're an inspiration to us all Young Man.
