What could be more enigmatic, or mysterious, than the vomitorium?

Larks' tongues. Wrens' livers. Chaffinch brains. Jaguars' earlobes. Wolf nipple chips. Get 'em while they're hot. They're lovely. Dromedary pretzels, only half a denar. Tuscany fried bats.

I stood in the 'Vomitorium' of the Hippodrome in Ceasarea, Israel back in 2009. Impressive place and I didn't get any on me. The Diarrhea-orium is the one you don't want to go to. trust me.  :hide:

There are still some airbases in Germany that were built for the Luftwaffe.
In the officer's mess, the restroom has a sort of flush toilet that is way too high and too small for that.  We couldn't figure out what it was for.
Turns out it is a receptacle for vomiting, when those flyboys had too much and needed a spew.
Only in Germany.

I bet certain forum members in Maine could use something like that, too.  ;D
