i seem to remember it causing a minor stir on ye olde forum
Thanks for the head's up. I've got too many moving parts ATM. But I look forward to hearing all about it.
I'd love to see some first impressions....and then mini-reviews....
Can't believe this is actually getting released.
I've pre-ordered it some time ago for that sweet 20$ (instead of 40$) price, and getting an additional key (I still have a free key hanging around)... only to find:
Game is unplayable.
Completely unplayable.
The server is pretty much always down. It keeps crashing, being down for hours if not days, getting back up by the devs, only to crash a very short while later.
The devs promised a fix a month ago, and still, even with the recently released patch, the game is still unplayable.
They could have decided not to make it an "Online-only" game, like MMORPGs, or they could fixed the server issues, but they did neither, and today this game supposedly gets
released.
In a completely unplayable state that's been like that for months.
EDIT: Me and my big mouth..
Game seems to work so far. Longest I've managed to be connected without the server crashing. :)

I feel that I have no clue on how to play the game :P
Got my arse handed over to me. Most of the time trying to figure why my dudes were doing silly things that I didn't intend them to do.
After a single game though, I think I have a bit more grasp on the mechanics though.
Just wish there was Singleplayer or Hotseat mode to practice.
I was really interested until I heard that there's no single-player mode. Shame about these server issues, too. I'm glad I didn't pre-order when I first heard about it, like I nearly did!
