I made a space invaders game, but the invaders have a shield on one side, if you hit the shield they chargeup blue and are worth 5 points , but if they land charged they are worth more to the aliens. the twist around as the fall, and your rockets are not centred they fire from both sides, so there are a few tricks to get you hot, its definatly got the addictive feel of space invaders but different.
added martian clouds for missile shields, and added a higher points possibility for super charged aliens, and have added an overall score.
