Wrong thread for PC games, but no worries.
Dragon Age: Origins & Dragon Age 2 are both fun and can be had cheaply. DA:O and the expansions make for many hours of RPG goodness.
Try Spiderweb Software http://spiderwebsoftware.com/ (http://spiderwebsoftware.com/) for Avernum series and Avadon for turn based.
and also Basilisk http://basiliskgames.com/ (http://basiliskgames.com/) for Eschalon
Spiderweb makes some really good indie RPGs.
Really appreciate the suggestions folks!! O0
I have Avernum: Escape From the Pit. I liked it a lot.

Knew I forgot a series!

I think the second part of the series has been out for awhile now.

The modernized one? Yes.
I get their RPGs all mixed up, but they are all pretty good and are HOURS of old school RPG gameplay.
