Long weekend here (though i will take some work at home).
I plan to play the following games:
- Pandora: first contact. This game is really hard. In a 4x, i usually try to go the diplomatic or scientific way but here you really have to make sure to keep a constant and high level of military. Anyone's got good tips?
- Civilization 5. Still playing my Aztec campaign but it takes like forever and it's only a 500 turn game. I can play at least 3-4 games of MOO4 during the same amount of time.
- Master of Orion 4. Playing a new campaign with the Darloks. Will try to use spying as much as i can (couldn't stand the first spying system they had implemented).
- Omerta: city of gangsters. Playing the main campaign again, just to chill (the music is so nice).
I am sure i will launch a few other games as well but i will try to focus mostly on these.

From the dev quote on the Steam forum, it may be up to Steam getting it out today. I'm not sure but it definitely seems to be ready to go, other than digital distro. Especially judging by the very positive RPS preview from last week.

Continue my Attila Total War Gothic campaign (Ostrogoths) and perhaps get back in to Enderal, the Skyrim total conversion mod.
Keep getting sucked back into WitP:AE. It's UI is cumbersome and at times game play is tedious, but there's something about it that draws me in.
I'm caught up on my mp game with Barth in DC:Blitz for now (Turn 5 is in his court), so: finishing my Turn 3 ep for Churchill (and playing Turn 4 if I can), plus messing with Steel Division 44, trying to polish my Panzer Fear deck for a low income game. (Note to self, don't forget to recreate the original PFear deck for a high income game and test that, too!) Multiplayer SD44 with some Grogs would be nice!
As much as I loved playing Microprose's Red Storm Rising back in the day, I'm going to wait on Cold Waters until after the inevitable bug hunt. Plenty of other games meanwhile. O:-) I don't doubt I'll get it eventually.
Get DC1: Warsaw to Paris back to JP on Sunday... if I survive the rest of the weekend playing Cold Waters...

I did install Stronghold and Crusader off my old CDs and then patched them up to HD. I have been playing both the military and economic campaigns. Not to mention just a bit of Crusader to see how it plays.

Intending to do more of Gal Civ III Crusade but I've just picked up Fallout 3, bit late to the party I know, and that seems to have grabbed my attention somewhat, fun character generation system to start with.
Sadly, Fallout 3 simply won't run on my computer, which is too bad because what I played of it, before I upgraded my OS from XP, was awesome.
Toonces, don't know what OS you have but I'm on Win10 and had bought Fallout 3 years back (I was on Vista then) from what is now the Game Stop (horrible, horrible platform) and I could never get it to work (got to the maternity ward opening screen and that was it), just took a punt on the 50% off GOG version that they have just released and it works. Not sure if it is worth the risk for you but just letting you know.
P.S. Just got killed by roaches, I'm obviously not very good at this :)
This weekend, for the first time this year, I am actually going to get together with a real live human being and play Bastogne. We had started to get familiar with the game last Fall, but then life got in the way and we couldn't link up until now.
I'll keep being generally horrible at Rising Storm 2. And it's time to actually play one of the strategy games I've been buying on deals lately : Either Civ VI, DoW III, Total War Warhammer, Stellaris or Steel Division Normandy 1944. Add a couple board games, and that should about do it.
Playing more of Starpoint Gemini Warlords. Really getting into this little gem and didn't expect to at all. Quite a surprise. For me it combines 3rd person TAC combat with some Home World thrown in as well. Also more Elite Dangerous and Steel Division. Haven't warmed to this last one yet so maybe I'll try to slow it down a little more with less units. Seems like the scope of the game is not as up close and personal as I'd like. I'm used to Company Level games like COH, etc.
I like playing the Visigoths. They're kind of like the Klingons before they got all warm & fuzzy. :knuppel2:
Nothing but Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm for me this weekend. I'm hosting my son's high school graduation party tomorrow, so killing pixels will be a fun diversion tomorrow night. There has been a large influx of new players recently, and it's nice to realize that I'm no longer the noob I was just a few months ago.
Civ VI, Endless Space 2, and Rimworld (with the Star Wars mod). I forgot how brutal Rimworld can be. :(
The Visigoths are pummeling the Byzantines in my Attila campaign, and as the Ostrogothic little brother, I am picking off key morsels in the eastern Mediterranean and in the Levant that the Byzantines are too beat up or exhausted to defend. Good job, Slash.

Yeah rimworld will make you think you are the alpha male then 30 sec later you are crying for your mommy as you are being seiged and then you get an bug infestation.
The Ostrogoths in my ATW campaign are way off in north Italy somewhere racing the Vandals to Rome. I've got my Visigoth bands built-up in southern Greece where we don't suffer from the cold of winter and I've got to choose now between following everybody to Italy or heading east to try to capture Constantinople-- a very tough nut to crack. Decisions, decisions.
Kooky - in my game the Visigoths have already captured Constantinople. To keep up with our Gothic Joneses, my Goths are still trying to pick off the other Mediterranean and Levantine cities. Lots of weird factions out in this area.
Friday night went to Yacht club with the missus and friends for dinner. Yesterday did some World of Warships time with Nef and 2ndacr (always good for a few chuckles). We had quite the long losing streak going on!
Today.. need to study a little, hopefully have some gaming time later.

No wealth required.. 350 for the year. and 100 of that is credit (don't know why they do that, we'll easily spend more than that over the summer).

Accomplished:
* Tweaked my two panzer decks in SD44 to play somewhat effectively in a 'cheap' game (low starting cash, medium income rate). Still not very successful at it. Apparently, sufficient numbers of expensive kit costs money! Economics is a harsh mistress.
* Scourged some of War for 3 hours Saturday with Asid and some of his European crew. We all teamed up as the Allies vs the AI French. My general got captured upon first contact with the enemy, by letting French cannons roll past him on their caissons. :uglystupid2: Despite that temporary setback, and my basic inability to make my two cav brigades pay attention through their generals (forcing me to take over and micro the regiments directly after they had been whittled down by mismanagement), we won pretty crushingly -- I think all four of us notched up a positive score. I helped by rushing my cav and arty up to seize the ridgeline south of the objective, and forcing the AI to stall out until my fellow divisions arrived; but the AI did try to take its cav division in a deep loop around to the left of our line of defense. (Our corps commander kept them off us.) My cav brigades eventually ceased to exist and/or ran away (after doing a lot of helpful if often scatterbrained work), but my arty continued dominating hard throughout the game, including when I managed to pull them up behind the enemy's defensive line at about 200 yards. :o :hide:
* Finished writing, editing, and compiling Turn 3 of Churchill. Next up, checking over the ep to make sure no hideous production errors, and then uploading it. Theoretically it should be live tomorrow, weather permitting.
Next up: Barth finished his side of Turn 5 in DC:Blitz, so I'll get back to that nail biter!

Long ago I had a REnomee with long 9s. You can't even buy long nines in the game at this point. You can "craft" them though. I haven't had the money for much since the bottom fell out of the tuna market in Havanna last week. You can't even get long 6s!
I have been fairly active gamingwise during this long weekend:
- I have lost my second game in a row of Pandora (on easy). I have started a new game now and changed from the diplomatic faction to the military faction. I hope this will give the bonus i need to survive.
- Continued my Civilization 5 campaign...just waiting for the 500 turns to end. I don't have much fun at this point anymore. I find diplomacy and spying much better in MOO4. I think i'll try some scenarios afterwards.
- Played some more turns of my Master of Orion 4 campaign as the Darloks. Doing ok but i am in for a long game (set 1000 turns).
- Played a little with my kids: Grand Ages: Rome: Alexandria free build and Sid Meier's Pirates (saved the sister of my hero).
