What's the practical reason for leaving off parts of the 'Shurtzen' (or whatever the post-war nomenclature)? Could it be as simple as someone forgot to put them back on after servicing some of the road wheels or return rollers?
What's a few wheels between shells?

It probably gets ripped off when they're tearing through the boonies.
depending on what they're doing... if you expect to breach a wire obstacle, you leave the back skirts off so when the wire gets tangled in your drive sprocket it doesn't tear up the inside of the skirts. Also makes it easier to get to the drive sprocket when your driver gets stuck trying to pull the wire out of the sprocket/track.
its also easier to pressure wash the crunchies out.

they make a bigger mess up front, but you have to leave the No 1 skirt on b/c it's the ballistic one that's actually armored.
Almost as nice as a Lep 2
which Lep 2?
Why ours, of course, with the slat armour and golf bag tote!
