With the exception of In Bloom, the other three songs were either tied, or seperated by (essentially) one vote.  That all makes me very happy.  Now we have to deal with the consequences.  With all the critical reverence for Nirvana, I can never be sure how well loved they are by regular folks.  I expect they should blow Pantera out of the water.  And yet, Walk is such a killer tune.  Let's see where this one goes.  The 2/3 is much easier for me.  Both great songs on their release.  Both still played on the radio today.  Only one worthy of moving forward.  I'll let you vote which one ;)

My favorite Nirvana tune vs a 'meh' Pantera tune (there are other Pantera songs I prefer by a lot) = easy choice

a 'meh' Alice in Chains tune (there are other AIC songs - on that album! - I prefer by a lot) vs the shittiest song Pearl Jam ever recorded = easy choice

And might it be possible for whoever is picking and choosing what they vote rather than voting for each one to maybe vote for each one?  Please?

Do you mean some on is skipping matchups or that they are picking everything they like even if it's both of the matchup choices?

As of this minute, six people have voted but one matchup only has five votes total, so someone opted to vote in one matchup and skip the other.

"Down in a Hole"? I don't mind it.  There are just other songs on Dirt that I like better - Dam That River, Them Bones, Would?, Angry Chair
I do like Down in a Hole better than Rooster, though.

It was a choice between, Down In A Hole, Them Bones and Would?  I asked my sister and she said Down In A Hole.  Hence, my 2 seed.
