when our sun dies, we need a star wars type death star to survive
its a fact the stars are to far away for us ever to reach, our only option is to create a space ship that is self sufficient like a death star moon.
the sun will die and unless we leave here we will too, a light year is how far light travels in a year, that's 186,000 miles a second, so I asure you we will never reach another star, there are no worm holes or warp engines. sorry Kirk

Our Sun should last for about 5 billion more years.... not the most pressing worry about getting off the planet.... :P
