Title: Belch...or Burp?
Post by: solops on October 21, 2017, 12:23:23 PM
In the twighlight of my life I now have time to consider many deep and vexing questions about life. One of these is: What is the difference between a burp and a belch, if any? Is it physical, etymological or what? As the English language deteriorates into a smaller and smaller pool of mostly misused words this question has me concerned.

A belch echoes. A burp doesn't.
