Title: rotating disk powered by magnets
Post by: gameleaper on October 31, 2017, 01:01:56 PM
if you have a wooden disk that can rotate with steel balls evenly spaced around the circumference, now if you have magnets placed near the disk that attract the balls , the disk will rotate a little untill the ball is close to the magnet, now if you have iron to shield magnetic fields from the magnets, and stagger the magnets so one attracts the steel ball and as it reaches the closest to the steel ball it starts to go behind the iron, now the staggered manet now is not at the closest to another ball , so it will attract the second ball , pulling the first ball behind the iron releasing its attraction to the first magnet. then the whole thing repeats giving you a rotating disk powered by magnets

You should do a kickstarter with this idea.

Do I note the use of a proscribed abjective there?

Anything ICP lays down can be considered just the best thing ever laid down.  :dreamer:

(I almost wrote that without throwing up.)

...so, you did throw up whilst writing that. Is that what you're saying?

Well, you can never always tell what's least expected most at the best of times.

The fun starts at 1:49

See how long you can last before you either guffaw or pound the Close button.

The 'close' button won - with ease!

But, apparently, you got at least as far as 1.49?

I only know about that bit at 1:49. I've never listened to the whole song.

It's a fairly well-known meme. I aim to educate my fellow Grogs.

I lasted 17 seconds.

The first 8 seconds was the mandatory youtube ad (which for once was more entertaining than the video).

I forced myself to watch till the end where the ICP flies off into space and thought 'if any ETs come across them then there will be a really big flying Terminex truck headed back our way'.
