As I posted the Round of 16 early Sunday morning, I had a chance to watch how the votes came in during the day. In the early going, Bon Jovi, R.E.M., and Fleetwood Mac had solid 4 to 1 leads. In all three cases, the challenger came back and prevailed. Now that we have moved on, I notice that my bias came out strong this year in including so many 'hard rock,' songs. I left some good tunes out that you'll see in the Wild Card Brackets. All in all a good little group for the Final 8. So, have at!
The 1/9
The 4/5
The 3/6
The 2/7
The 3/6 was strictly an avoidance/avoidance conflict. For the others I had at least a grudging preference.
I liked Van Hagar at the time (late 80s/early 90s), but not so much now. Good choices, though. Surprised they made it to this round.
