Has anyone got/played this game? I'm tempted to buy it.
I don't have it, but seen it in action and it's gorgeous. I haven't heard anyone say anything bad about it
It has got some good reviews, and there is this; Go to his number 1 game!
I've played the campaign once and highly recommend it. One feature I really liked was that there's no ZOCs which means there will be juicy counter attack opportunites also for the german player, so it's not the typical one sided steamroll like most of the western front games.
Why don't I own this already?

Thanks for that, I'm pretty sure I'm going to pull the trigger anyway.
Oh, I love the Sam Vimes avatar, btw :bd:
marcowargamer posts some pretty good videos. And his accent is cool. 8)
+1 Marco does nice video reviews.
He does indeed. Certainly he gives this game a good review.
Mirth, are you SURE you don't have this?
Sadly, I'm sure.
Tsk! You disappoint me :hide:
Looks like there is a nice expansion (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/94729/roundhammer-1943) for it.
Game ordered!
Yes, there is 'operation 'Roundhammer' and also an EF game using the same system, 'Victory Roads'
Marco is highly impressive. For a while he was doing regular video reviews with a newborn and working as a professor at (I think) Indiana U. And he's published a lot of books, too. I believe he's Italian IIRC, ergo the cool accent.
Mirth will have it ordered within the week.

he'll have it ordered tonight if we shame him enough
As though I can be shamed.
You can get it from GMT, btw - just in case you weren't aware :)
Pretty sure mirth has more gaming connections than Pablo Escobar had coke connections.
I've got the coke connections too.
Coca-Cola doesn't count, though.
I still make mine with cocaine.
Sounds like Maine moonshinin' to me.
We use turpentine in the Moonshine. Gives it quite a kick.

and you wonder why you guys act like you do :)
... and Victory Roads?
Quote[...]Victory Roads is a historical simulation retracing the campaign on the Eastern Front, from June 22, 1944, the day of the launch of the offensive Bagration in Byelorussia, until May 1945 in Berlin.
Victory Roads uses the same game system as Liberty Roads, our wargame on the Western Front, from the D-Day to April 1945, while integrating the specific characteristics of this campaign. The counters are the divisions (Axis) and corps (Soviets) of both sides involved in the campaign. [...]
Airlines have the urge to sing "Liberty Roads" to the tune of "Holiday Road" from National Lampoon's Vacation
No?
Just me?

That among other reasons.

No, I've been singing that in my head since I saw this pop up.
That and 'Allison Road.'
