Well, I was right there was going to be a blowout.  I was wrong in which one it would be.  I truly thought there was so much unrequited teenage love for Debbie Harry that Heart of Glass would win in a landslide.  Turns out, it was the closest vote, 8-6.  The blowout was the Stones getting crushed by Bon Scott and the boys.  Again, I thought there was an inexhaustible store of love for Keith & Mick.  Not this time.  Floyd keeps chugging along.  And ol' Charlie Daniels great tale about Johnny and the Devil makes a surprise entry into the Final 4.  Good selections all, by you folks.  Look forward to how it turns out.  Have at!

Thanks!  That was the album that brought Joe Satriani to the attention of a lot of people.  And the Silver Surfer is my favorite hero next to Thor.





And Steve Vai, a student of Satriani's.  You may have seen him in this from the movie Crossroads (Ry Cooder played the parts that Ralph Macchio is mimicking in the duel)

You're welcome MD  O0 it's a very cool pic ! And I was thinking ...huh? What's the karate kid doing playing guitar !!!! I've actually never seen that movie crossroads  ! But I really liked the movie my cousin Vinnie , and he was in that ...really funny movie  :)

Loved the fact steve Vai was in crossroads. Not many noticed but the film's producers and director even allowed him to bring his Carvin Gear. Later he partnered with them and has Legacy amps in his name-- and anyone who has ever heard a band in a dungy room using a Carvin PA can attest it's pretty damn good stuff. You can sound good in the worst rooms.
