Yeah, he's definitely an awesome guy.

And he's absolutely right. Shows like American Idol and other dumb 'talent' shows are idiotic to the extreme.

I guess it is the same in the US as it is over here : they exist because they generate a huge amount of money from televoting (often young girls voting for the cutest guy).
