Let's hope that Leto will watch The Dark Knight a few times before shooting starts. He has some big shoes to fill. After Ledger's performance we cant go back to the Joker as just a spiffy-dressed homicidal vaudeville act.

Nicholson was awesome but Heath Ledger took it to that next level.
If any of you watch "Gotham" on Fox, the actor who plays the Joker there does a reasonably good job of the psychotic version of Mr. J.

Whatever Leto's portrayal in Suicide Squad was, it wasn't that anyway.

whatever his interpretation was. By all accounts I've ever seen, he got swindled.
Everything I heard about SS it was supposed to be a lot more Joker driven and then Will Smith said "nahhh, needs to be about me"
