Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home
This one isn't much of a stretch. In this instalment of the franchise, the Enterprise has to go back in time to get two humpback whales. They end up at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Which was actually filmed at the Monterey Bay Aquarium, just south of San Jose, California

It's not "just South" of San Jose.
It's over 90 minutes away, especially since San Jose is also 30 minutes inland from the ocean, too

to be fair, "90 minutes away" in Kalifornia traffic is like 3 miles.

I was talking with traffic.  Unless there's an accident in Morgan Hill on the 101, Monterey to Valley Fair Mall in downtown SJO is 90 minutes.  I've done it a lot.

it's over 70 miles, whichever road you're on, whether you stay on the 101 or come over the hill on 17 into Santa Cruz then hug the coast down the way.
