Arma 3, war thunder...things like that.
I had an interview today as a lab assistant in the molecular diagnostics department at a hospital. Went really well and I'm super pumped. For some reason the bus driver is playing super dramatic music on the radio. I think he wants to be Keanu , whatever perks up the job I guess.
Gaming is going to be rimworld. I forgot how fun it i. Except when I send out a caravan, the region got coated in toxic waste. My last two colonists are being besieged by toxic manhunting turtles and I can't bring the caravan back.
Foodwise. Picked up some dried fermbrake, going to try and make bibimbap. Seaweed soup is gross, like...pasta but nasty.
Had another mass exodus of people quitting at work and the usual suspects of entitled idiots all taking "stress leave" for 2-3 months so we're desperately short of bodies once again. Holidays cancelled yet again, last minute schedule changes and all day off requests refused....YAY? Working nights all weekend now. Gotta love 96 hour work weeks...
* War Thunder Ships close BETA and War Thunder in general.
* Steel Division
* DOW3 Rework 2 mod
* Maybe if I feel inspired some endless space 2

Sorry to hear that. That sounds like a horrible work environment. I am in a workplace now where some people have similar ethics.
Sorry to hear your work troubles SDR. :(
All the talk of Endless Space 2 has me itching to play again so that's the weekend main focus.
Finally completed a game of Stellaris with a Federation win.
Prepping for the new KS campaign.
Armageddon War still on the table. Some really cool combat mechanics in this game.
And yardwork, always yardwork.
Hang in there SDR. I too have one individual who has been milking a nosebleed to take off and/or 'work from home' for the last two months. Not that it truly matters because she does nothing anyway. But still.
Continuing the Tomb Kings campaign for TW Warhammer II and hope to start Tyranny as well when not drilling with the Guard this weekend.
Have fun all! Except SDR :/
Out of town for the usual Reserve nonsense this weekend (c'mon retirement paperwork!) so I daresay not much of anything for myself shall occur outside of reading.
Vibes to you, SDR, and everyone stay safe.
Same thing used to happen every summer where I worked SDR, everybody quits to vacation and have fun leaving the career slugs to struggle through until they try to come back in the fall. That's when I left... them... to... suffer through. But it is a bitch to deal with. I'm having fun with "The First Triumvirate", a mod for Attila TW. Another Roman one? Yes, set in 58 BC plays a lot like Ancient Empires meets the Augustus DLC. Only one playable faction currently though, Ceasar, but more to follow. I like it. Have a good weekend Grogs. :bd:
BTW Nabatea was updated in the Ancient Empires mod and now has full victory conditions.
I'm glad that mod is getting support. It really is a great work by that team.
I can say with confidence that I am now ready to play it.
Do I smell a 'What's Gus Playing'?
Will continue the tutorial of Endless Space 2
I have also started a new Master of Orion CtS campaign with the Psilons on a huge map. Want to play conquest...think the Darloks might be my first goal...or the Bulrathis.
Would like to play some Time of Fury and Battlefield Academy.
Slash - no, I had a lot of dairy with breakfast.
Interesting but somewhat troubling song and video choice.
Jim Morrison had a fabulous voice, and the Doors were a fantastic band. A few of their songs are still at the top of my playlist. Love their music.
Not sure about the politics here. Morrison's father was a top admiral in the US Navy. A key player in the Gulf of Tonkin, which led the US into the Vietnam War.
I'm not sure how this song was received by the troops on the ground at that time. On the one hand, Morrison seems to be saying the war is ludicrous, wrong, the unknown soldier should come home.
On the other hand, the song (and video) are making a mockery of the troops in that war.
Not sure how our troops interpreted the song at that time.
FWIW, these issues are personal to me. My son is a US Marine, and recently returned from a deployment serving security in Syria.
I bought Order of Battle WW2 - Sandstorm.
Some Pavlov's House by DVG.
Also might give Aliens: Colonial Marines a go thanks to Pete Dero's post about the one-letter change to its .ini file that makes the AI work the way it was supposed to.

Wow! That really stinks. Hope you are at least getting adequate financial compensation.
GROGPUBLIC UPDATE: got the game board imported in, plus the provinces (with some fixes to properly show maximum allowable provincial fleets/auxs), and now all the random events: 12 for the Birth of the Republic (first few turns), 18 (double-sided) for the main game, 1 for the final few Civil War Era turns.
Here are a couple of event cards, one from the prelude turns (with fan mod art), one from the main game (with Valley Games art), placed in the Forum:
(The Forum's map is just there to give a sense of where the provinces relate to each other. Strictly speaking there is no map-placement, or map-movement -- this is a political wargame, so to speak. Consequently cards in "the Forum" tend to obscure the map, but it's no big deal. Probably there should be a painting of the Senate there instead!)
Events like these are randomly generated and can show up multiple times per game, or never. Other events are historically unique and trigger when dealt out of the Scenario Deck during player turns.
And now I'll have to learn better how to create "decks" in TTS, since as far as I recall all the other cards are shuffled and drawn...
I saw that info on Aliens: Colonial Marines...post impressions!
Been playing World of Warcraft all weekend. Finishing up some last minute goals before the pre-expansion patch makes some stuff unobtainable when it releases on Tuesday.
To damn hot to play or do anything else.
Lots of endless space 2 and fallout 4 for me
