Robert Zemeckis has decided that the current round of X-Files just aren't good enough for him (which I can't say I blame him about), and he's going to show them how it's freaking done!
So. Get ready for MadMenesque period X-files on the History Channel!
I, for one, welcome our new X-File successor. :smitten:
Is this a remake of the old 70s show Project UFO? :o
Could be! (I also recall that, at the time, they used the "Bluebook" title, which being a young kid I thought was "Bluebird".)
I doubt it's really a 'remake' though, because that show didn't have a X-filish plot so much as a Dragnet episodic investigation documentary-ish presentation: the main characters go out and the show recreated their interviews and investigations, and then shows what they thought happened compared to what the witnesses thought happened -- sometimes it was case-closed, other times they had no idea, other times it was more muddled in that their explanation wasn't altogether plausible but that's what they went with.
A shameless attempt to exploit a controversial issue strictly for entertainment--- which I approve of. Count me in. O0
This show needs a young Peter Graves.
I see your MIB2 reference.
YOUNG Graves. Older Graves would be an Airplane! reference.
