Perhaps this will be better than Braveheart? A new series on Robert the Bruce. The question really is whether the kilts will be werrn. Actually it does not look too bad. Will Chris Pine do braveheart speeches though? Will He!!! Will they take your FREEEDOM. The guy that plays HAMISH or his equivalent looks a little light for a giant though! What say ye lads and laddies? (and ladies).
I'm in! Can't find my kilt so I'll rip down the curtains and wear them over my loins instead. O0
Looks pretty good. As a teenager that was going into History teaching, talking about William Wallace got me laid a lot in the 17-21 years with girls that were obsessed with the Braveheart story. But man the movie was badly historically inaccurate.
Interested to see if this will remedy it. I like Chris Pine, dude has some good screen presence. I'm in.

Now, now. It was just as accurate as what was in The Patriot. ::)
Oh no but now he won't be in Stark Elven fourrrrrrr.
...
........
I can live with that, I guess, if I must.
Braveheart got me some action too. I used to tell all the girls I was Mel Gibson's stand-in for the kilt scene. ::)

There aren't enough vomit emoji's in the world for The Patriot.

...as the sporran?
No, I told them I was the guy that got shot in the ass with an arrow. Then they want to see the scar.... ::) No women in my household ever knew there was such a thing as a 'pause' button on a VCR before that scene.
So, they eventually got to the bottom of it?
:hide:
That's the rump of the story.
So I take it some of you laddies are Scottish?
No, but I live about 30-odd miles from the Scottish Border and only 120 miles from Edinburgh ;D
I use Scotch tape. Does that count? :bd:
I visited Edinburgh Castle and got to see what wielding a broadsword was like. Those dudes had some serious upper body strength.
This does look interesting.

I guess that just about wraps it up.
I understand for some it can be a sticky subject.
That was a bit...tacky.

How odd are those miles?
I think in Britain they only count the 'odd' miles not the 'even' ones so, probably 60 miles together. And, 'as the crow flies'. Have you ever watched a crow fly? The only time they fly in a straight line is when they're aiming to shit on a freshly washed vehicle or my pool. Don't even get me started on, 'when the cows come home'. :P

They are pretty odd, no question about it.
